Job Summary

This role involves the crucial task of maintaining and operating a nationwide solar UV measurement network, as well as optical laboratories. The successful candidate will be responsible for the independent operation, testing, and maintenance of measuring devices, including performing repairs and creating detailed documentation. A key aspect of the job includes regular business trips within Germany to provide technical support for external measurement stations, often in challenging environments. Additionally, the role supports quality assurance, data validation, and the analysis of measurement data, alongside general organizational and documentation duties. This position offers a responsible and varied part-time (50%) role within a scientific-technical federal agency, contributing to environmental and human safety.
