This Scientist position within the Quantitative Genetics research group focuses on developing statistical genomics tools to understand the genetic architecture of crop traits like grain yield heterosis. The role involves leveraging AI-based prediction methods, specifically testing Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and various activation functions using experimental data from multiple crops. A key part of the job is summarizing findings, contributing to scientific publications, and managing large-scale genomic and genotyping data. MSc in Plant Science, Plant Breeding, Biology, or a related quantitative field

Experience
