Job Summary
This role is for a Scientific Coordinator to lead an interdisciplinary project focused on connecting innovative plant research with societal dialogue, design, and participation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall coordination of the project, managing workflows between the IPK Leibniz Institute and Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle, and aligning with various project partners. Key tasks include planning and executing events, workshops, and discourse formats, contributing to communication and transfer activities like exhibitions and publications, consolidating scientific contributions, and supporting the project leader in internal and external communication. This position offers an international and interdisciplinary work environment with opportunities for professional development and networking, ideal for someone passionate about science communication and societal engagement in life sciences.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Natural Sciences, Science Communication, or Science Management
Experience
- Professional experience in coordinating complex projects, ideally in an inter- or transdisciplinary context
- Knowledge in science communication, participation, or societal technology discourses

- Full-time position, limited to 2 years within the project duration.
