Job Summary

This role involves actively contributing to the development of the DataPLANT infrastructure, a key component of Germany's National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI). The Research Software Engineer will be responsible for capturing and implementing various use cases and APIs, conducting rigorous testing, error analysis, and performance tuning to ensure system efficiency. Day-to-day tasks also include proactive system monitoring and optimization, as well as participating in discussions and coordination with DataPLANT partners and other NFDI consortia. A crucial part of the job is providing consultation and training to the DataPLANT user community.
