Job Summary

This role involves leading strategic sourcing and procurement activities specifically focused on Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) within the External Manufacturing Services department in Basel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire sourcing lifecycle, including CDMO site selection, conducting thorough due diligence assessments, and leading complex pricing and contract negotiations for CMO agreements. A key aspect is executing robust Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) processes. This position requires a professional with a university degree in a scientific or business field, minimum five years of relevant experience in CMO management or procurement, and proven practical knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Fluency in English and strong analytical skills are essential.
