This role involves joining a dynamic team in Basel focused on the analytical development of synthetic molecules within the pharmaceutical industry. The core responsibilities include the development, optimization, and validation of analytical methods crucial for assessing the quality of raw materials, intermediates, active ingredients, and finished dosage forms. You will meticulously plan and execute experiments, ensuring thorough documentation compliant with current GxP guidelines and SOPs. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry or a related field, or equivalent professional training, coupled with 1–3 years of practical experience in method development. Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, and KF is essential, alongside strong scientific writing and digital competencies. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field, OR completed vocational training with relevant experience.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of practical experience in analytical method development within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Professional experience applying GxP requirements and understanding their relevance across different clinical phases.
  • Practical experience handling analytical equipment and methods (e.g., HPLC, GC, KF).
