Job Summary
This role is for an experienced IT professional to lead and coordinate IT operations within a federal agency in Aurich, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing team tasks, developing IT strategies, managing IT planning and resource allocation, and ensuring the optimal use of IT systems across the main office and external branches. Key responsibilities include preparing reports for the Ministry, managing IT budgets for hardware and software, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with IT security standards. The position requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to effectively manage IT initiatives and personnel, contributing to the overall IT framework and infrastructure of the organization.
Required Skills
Education
Completed civil service training for the higher scientific service (e.g., Computer Science) or higher technical service (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering) for civil servants; or a comparable qualification for salaried employees, such as a completed university of applied sciences/bachelor's degree in fields like Computer Science, Business Informatics, Electrical Engineering, or Communications Engineering.
