Job Summary

This role offers a challenging opportunity within the Clinical Genomics Lab (CGL), a highly interdisciplinary diagnostic unit collaborating across human genetics, hematology, clinical chemistry, and pathology. As a key team member, you will be responsible for performing complex molecular genetic analyses in a diagnostic molecular pathology setting. Your primary duties include identifying therapeutically relevant markers for targeted cancer therapies, conducting molecular diagnostics for solid tumors and lymphomas, and performing pathogen diagnostics using paraffin materials. You will utilize cutting-edge technologies such as DNA/RNA isolation, various PCR methods, Sanger sequencing, electrophoresis, and state-of-the-art Next Generation Sequencing (NGS). Furthermore, you will actively contribute to the development and validation of new analytical methodologies and participate in essential Quality Management tasks, ensuring high diagnostic standards.
