Job Summary

This role involves maintaining and repairing high-voltage switchgear in substations across the 50Hertz grid, contributing to a secure network operation. The successful candidate will perform maintenance, repair, and diagnostic tasks on extra-high voltage equipment, including circuit breakers, disconnectors, and surge arresters. Key responsibilities also include assembly, disassembly, and adjustment of equipment, as well as replacing individual components and conducting functional tests. The position requires a degree in electrical engineering or a related field, excellent German language skills, and a high willingness to travel extensively within the 50Hertz network area. Experience with maintenance tools and network facilities is a plus.
