Job Summary

This role is ideal for an Electrical or Power Engineering graduate ready to contribute to the expansion and maintenance of high-voltage cable systems in the offshore sector, supporting the energy transition. Day-to-day, you will participate in grid expansion and innovation projects, plan and execute maintenance for offshore cable infrastructure, and monitor system availability while adhering to safety and environmental regulations. A key component of the job involves technical evaluation of assets, calculating electrical parameters, and managing commercial and contractual aspects, including budget planning and warranty monitoring. The position requires offshore suitability and includes working in the North Sea, often in a 14-day rotation cycle, ensuring the continuous operation of 50Hertz's high-voltage assets. Success in this dynamic team requires structured work habits, clear communication, and the ability to manage complex tasks and priorities effectively.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering

Experience

  • Professional experience with high or medium voltage cables
  • Experience in offshore environments (ideally)
  • Experience in maintenance project planning and execution
  • Knowledge of project management and contract law (advantageous)
  • Experience with SAP, databases, and MS Office (advantageous)
