Job Summary

This critical role requires an Electrical Engineer to assume technical project leadership for Primary Technology, specifically focusing on STATCOM systems within the regional high-voltage transmission network. The core mission is to actively contribute to the energy transition by driving the integration of renewable energies. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing technical and technological solutions, managing large-scale projects from initial concept and technical-economic comparisons through tendering, contractor awarding, acceptance testing, and final commissioning. The successful candidate will coordinate extensively with internal teams and external partners, manage budgets, and ensure adherence to safety standards. This position is ideal for someone with a degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent vocational background) who possesses strong organizational skills, is results-driven, and is proficient in both Fluent German (C1) and Intermediate English (B2). It offers a chance to work with the newest compensation technology and shape future technical guidelines for grid assets.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (with electrical specialization). Alternatively, comparable vocational qualifications (e.g., Master Electrician or Electrical Fitter) are accepted.

Experience

  • Professional experience in technical project leadership or management
  • Experience in planning, realization, and commissioning of technical systems (Gewerke)
  • Experience steering service providers and conducting acceptance procedures
  • Professional experience in high-voltage technology (preferred but not mandatory)
