Job Summary

The Clinic for Vascular Surgery is seeking a dedicated Research Associate Biologist to join their team. This role involves comprehensive project management within cardiovascular research, with a strong focus on liquid and tissue biobanking. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing animal experiments, performing various lab techniques such as PCR, Western blot, IH, IF, and ELISA, and managing grant applications and reports. The position also requires meticulous organization of the research laboratory, personnel planning, and fostering collaborations with national and international institutes. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and experienced professional with a strong background in natural sciences and animal experimentation to contribute significantly to cutting-edge vascular medicine research.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Natural Sciences (Master's in Biology), preferably a completed doctorate

Experience

  • Experience with animal experiment application (small and large animals, e.g., mouse, rat, pig)
  • Experience in implementing animal experiments
  • Experience in expanding research focuses in vascular medicine
  • Project leadership experience
  • Experience in creating scientific publications
  • Experience in creating and conducting presentations
