Job Summary
This role involves acting as a strategic SAP Expert and Trusted Advisor within the Process and Quality Management (PQM) staff unit, reporting directly to the Commercial Director. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing deep SAP expertise, particularly in SAP S/4HANA and BTP (Business Technology Platform), developing complex SAP architectures in heterogeneous system landscapes, and leading the technical implementation of SAP projects. The expert will design solution architectures, including interfaces and automation, and ensure technical and functional quality assurance, leading internal and external implementation teams. A key focus is the implementation of SAP Signavio and LeanIX within complex SAP migration projects, driving Business Process Excellence, and fostering innovation, including AI-based approaches. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or related fields, possesses at least 7 years of experience as an SAP Architect/Consultant focusing on S/4HANA, and has successfully completed multiple end-to-end S/4HANA implementations. Strong communication, analytical skills, and fluency in German and English are highly desired.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (Master or Diploma) in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields. Current SAP certifications in relevant topics and architectural methods are required.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years as an SAP Architect/Consultant focusing on S/4HANA, HCM/HXM, Cloud, and Hybrid solutions
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in a business environment (preferably international software sales or corporate development)
- Deep understanding of SAP products, partners, and markets (ideally over 5 years of SAP experience)
- Successful completion of multiple end-to-end implementations of SAP S/4HANA or SAP Cloud ERP
- Experience in selected industries (Life Sciences, Healthcare) in the German-speaking market (D-A-CH) (desirable)
- Experience in business process optimization, Lean Six Sigma, or as a Business Analyst (advantageous)

- Must demonstrate strong analytical thinking, solution-oriented work, resilience, and goal orientation. Must be proficient in communication and presentation skills, capable of interacting confidently with C-level executives, technical architects, and project managers.
