Job Summary

As an Air Pollution Control Systems Engineer at ESMC's new semiconductor fab in Dresden, you will be the system owner and subject matter expert for Air Abatement Systems (AAS) and various Mechanical, Cleanroom, and HVAC Systems. Your role is crucial for ensuring system safety, operational excellence, reliability, efficiency, and compliance, while driving continuous improvement and innovation. You will develop and implement maintenance plans, analyze data for efficiency, support new installations, and provide technical training. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of a state-of-the-art semiconductor fab, working in a fast-paced international startup environment backed by leading technology companies.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technical Facility Services, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • 10+ years of relevant post-education experience with Mechanical Systems, specifically Air Abatement Systems, in design, construction, commissioning, and operations
  • Strong knowledge in operation and regulatory compliance of industrial processing plants or semiconductor facilities (preferred)
  • Experience with facilities engineering of industrial processing plants
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience with troubleshooting
