Job Summary

This critical role involves overseeing the management, expansion, and modification of the Facility Monitoring and Control System (FMCS) for a new, state-of-the-art semiconductor fab in Dresden. The engineer will ensure the stable and reliable supply of utilities by enhancing system reliability and strengthening supply defense capabilities. Key responsibilities include executing the startup of new facility systems, coordinating scheduled maintenance activities with outsourcing contractors, and streamlining organizational workflows to improve efficiency. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing the professional capabilities of both internal and outsourced engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in instrument and control system engineering and a minimum of three years of relevant experience, preferably within the semiconductor sector. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory for effective cross-functional communication within this international joint venture.
