Job Summary

This role is pivotal in establishing and maintaining the stable and reliable utility supply for a cutting-edge semiconductor fabrication plant in Dresden. The Advanced Facility Monitoring and Control Engineer will manage the facility's Monitoring and Control System (FMCS), focusing on system expansion, modification, and reliability enhancements. Daily tasks include coordinating with outsourcing contractors for system upgrades and maintenance scheduling, streamlining organizational workflows, and strengthening the defense capabilities of the supply system. The successful candidate will also be crucial in executing the startup of new facility systems and supporting both Facility and FAB operations teams in resolving production issues. This position requires strong cross-functional communication and problem-solving skills, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of the European semiconductor ecosystem within a fast-paced, international startup environment backed by industry leaders like TSMC, Bosch, Infineon, and NXP.

Required Skills

Education

Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Instrument and Control System Engineering or related field

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years in instrument and control operation
  • Professional experience in the semiconductor industry (preferred)
  • Experience overseeing the expansion and modification of FMCS systems
  • Experience collaborating with outsourced contractors
