Job Summary

This role involves overseeing the management, expansion, and modification of the facility's Monitoring and Control Systems (FMCS) to ensure a stable and reliable supply of utilities for a new semiconductor manufacturing plant in Dresden. The engineer will be crucial during the startup of new facility systems, collaborating extensively with internal teams and external contractors. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating maintenance schedules, streamlining organizational workflows for efficiency, and strengthening the reliability and quality of the supply system. A key focus is on continuous improvement, problem-solving support for Facility and FAB operations, and enhancing the professional capabilities of both internal and outsourced engineering teams. This position offers a unique chance to actively shape the future of a state-of-the-art semiconductor fab established by a joint venture of industry leaders (TSMC, Bosch, Infineon, NXP).

Required Skills

Education

Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in instrument & control system engineering or relative education and background

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years in instrument and control operation
  • Professional experience in the semiconductor industry (preferred)
  • Experience in executing the startup of new facility systems
