Job Summary

This exciting 12-month contract role in Basel seeks a dedicated Analytical Development Associate focused on synthetic molecules within the pharmaceutical industry. You will be responsible for the end-to-end process of developing, optimizing, and validating crucial analytical methods used to assess the quality of starting materials, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), and dosage forms. Day-to-day activities involve meticulous planning and execution of laboratory experiments, ensuring strict adherence to current GxP guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous analytical improvements. The ideal candidate brings 1–3 years of practical experience, strong expertise in core techniques like HPLC, GC, and KF, and excellent scientific writing skills for regulatory documentation.
