Job Summary

The Hochschule Bremen is seeking a dedicated Technical Employee / IT Specialist to join their Campus Management team. This role involves the intricate analysis and implementation of examination regulations within the HISinOne Campus Management System, a critical tool for student administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing testing strategies for new regulation implementations, maintaining examination regulation versions, and meticulously documenting processes. A key aspect of the role is providing comprehensive support and troubleshooting for system users, as well as assisting with the system's statistical and fee functions. This position requires a highly analytical, solution-oriented individual capable of translating complex technical and academic information for non-technical users, contributing to the seamless operation of student services in an international university environment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/FH-Diplom) in Computer Science or a comparable field with an IT component, OR a completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist with focus on Application Development) with several years of relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT, particularly in application development, if possessing a vocational IT qualification
  • Experience with Campus and Information Management Systems in higher education, especially HIS software
  • Professional knowledge in the area of "Student Life Cycle" with a focus on examination management

Additional

  • Must be willing to engage in continuous internal and external training and professional development. Flexibility in working hours is required, including full-day attendance for internal/external training or afternoon working group meetings. For degrees obtained outside the EU, German translation and ZAB evaluation or ANABIN excerpt are required. For vocational qualifications obtained outside Germany, German translation and recognition in Germany are required.
