Job Summary

The Hochschule Bremen is seeking an IT Administration Specialist to join their Registrar's and Examination Office, focusing on the HISinOne campus management system. This role involves analyzing and mapping study and examination regulations within the system, adapting existing structures to new requirements, and developing cross-faculty rule catalogs. The successful candidate will also be responsible for establishing standards, coordinating with various internal departments and external service providers, and providing training and support to university staff. They will drive the further development of business processes and usability in student and examination administration, including leading digitalization projects and generating official statistics. This position offers an opportunity to work independently within a dedicated team in an international, practice-oriented academic environment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (e.g., Business and Administrative Informatics, Media Informatics, Public Administration, or comparable with IT component) OR completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Application Development / Data and Process Analysis)

Experience

  • Professional experience, preferably in campus management systems at universities
  • Experience in training IT users - desirable

Languages

German (Fluent)English (Basic)

Additional

  • Flexible working hours required, including full-day presence for internal/external training or afternoon working group meetings. Willingness for continuous internal and external training and further education. For degrees/certifications obtained outside the EU/Germany, German translation and ZAB/ANABIN evaluation or recognition from BIBB are required.
