As a Laboratory Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the Phytopathological Laboratory, focusing on quality assurance, method development, and pathogen diagnostics. Your daily tasks will involve implementing and enforcing the QM system, documenting data, and evaluating test results. You will be responsible for optimizing and developing molecular biological methods, particularly in real-time PCR, including their implementation and validation. Additionally, you will lead and organize laboratory investigations, provide guidance to staff, and ensure the technical release of methods.
