Job Summary
As a Rare Disease Manager, you will lead strategic account management for desmoid tumors across South Germany, transforming patient access to life-changing therapies. Day-to-day, you'll develop and execute customized account plans for hospitals and treatment centers, build deep partnerships with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and translate complex clinical evidence into meaningful discussions. You'll collaborate with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Marketing to align strategies, use CRM tools and market analytics to refine approaches, and champion disease awareness initiatives. Key requirements include a life science degree (Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Medicine), 4-5 years of commercial experience in pharma/biotech with a track record in strategic account management, and rare disease experience. You need fluency in German and English, a valid driving license, and willingness to travel. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related life science field; qualification as Pharmaceutical Representative per local regulatory requirements is a plus
Experience
- 4-5 years of commercial experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry
- Proven track record in strategic account management and market development
- Hands-on experience in rare disease environments
- Understanding of healthcare systems, reimbursement pathways, and patient access processes
- Experience with high-cost specialty therapies preferred

- Valid driving license required; high willingness to travel within territory including overnight travel; territory covers key hubs across South Germany (Heidelberg and München); work permit for Germany required
