Job Summary
As a Rare Disease Manager, you will own your territory across Middle Germany, driving access to life-changing therapies for patients with desmoid tumors. Day-to-day, you will develop and execute strategic account plans for hospitals and treatment centers, build deep partnerships with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and translate complex clinical data into compelling conversations. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Marketing teams, using CRM tools and analytics to refine your approach. The role requires 4-5 years of commercial pharma/biotech experience, rare disease expertise, and fluency in German and English. This position offers the chance to combine commercial excellence with genuine patient impact in a supportive, inclusive culture.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related life science field; qualification as Pharmaceutical Representative per local regulatory requirements is a plus
Experience
- 4-5 years of commercial experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry
- Proven track record in strategic account management and market development
- Hands-on experience in rare disease environments
- Experience with high-cost specialty therapies
- Experience working across cross-functional teams
Languages
Additional
- Valid driving license required; willingness to travel within territory including overnight travel; territory covers Middle Germany including Göttingen and Dresden
