Job Summary

This role is for an IT Application Coordinator with a focus on Economic Youth Welfare, Controlling, and Analysis within the City of Frankfurt's Youth and Social Welfare Office. You will be responsible for coordinating IT applications, specifically administering the PROSOZ 14plus system for economic youth welfare. Your day-to-day tasks will involve providing service and support to users, handling inquiries and issues, conducting training, developing data analysis tools and procedures, managing data warehouses, creating reports and analyses, and supporting IT projects. The position requires strong analytical skills, experience with specific software like PROSOZ 14plus, Microsoft Office, Oracle and MS-SQL databases, and reporting tools like Power BI. Required Skills

Education

Qualification for the senior general administrative service, or a completed relevant university degree (Bachelor) in Administration, Informatics, or Mathematics, or a completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist in application development with many years of professional experience.

Experience

  • Good knowledge and practical experience with the Prosoz 14plus application.
  • Extensive experience in information technology and practical knowledge in analyzing complex data structures.
  • Significant practical knowledge of Oracle and MS-SQL databases and their programming (PL-SQL & T-SQL).
  • Significant knowledge of MS products: Management Studio (SSMS), Visual Studio, Integration Service (SSIS), Reporting Service (SSRS), and Power BI Desktop.
  • Experience in IT project work is advantageous.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs, particularly spreadsheets and template creation.
