Job Summary
This leadership role involves heading a team of 10 employees within the Frankfurt Youth and Social Welfare Office, focusing on the strategic and economic framework of child and youth welfare. You will be responsible for the development, quality assurance, and implementation of specialized procedures for economic youth services, including contract management, financing law, and fee negotiations. Day-to-day duties include ensuring operational continuity, personnel development, and moderating regular team meetings to foster communication and problem-solving. You will act as a key coordinator between various departments, public authorities, and independent welfare providers to optimize procedural workflows and implement new regulations. This position is unique as it combines high-level administrative management with social impact, offering the opportunity to shape the future of youth welfare in a major metropolitan area. Required Skills
Education
Qualification for higher-level civil service or a completed university degree (Bachelor's) in Business Administration (focusing on Controlling/Accounting), Public Management, or a qualification as a Certified Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt).
Experience
- Long-term relevant professional experience in public administration or economic management
- Several years of leadership experience with a proven track record of above-average performance
- Extensive experience in managing complex projects from conception to implementation
- Professional experience in moderating committees, working groups, and delivering presentations
- Deep knowledge of the Child and Youth Strengthening Act and related social security codes
