Job Summary

Join an innovative research project at the Institute of Experimental Endocrinology as a PhD student, focusing on novel brain pathways that mediate thyroid hormone effects. This role combines advanced in vivo imaging with neuroanatomical and molecular biology techniques. You will conduct immunohistochemical analysis, modulate neuronal activity, perform physiological phenotyping, and apply molecular/cell biology methods. Required Skills

Education

Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Life Science, or similar (or a completed curriculum and currently in master thesis)

Experience

  • Professional experience in molecular and cell biology techniques is advantageous
  • Thorough knowledge of physiology and genetics is advantageous

Additional

  • FELASA B (or equivalent, valid in the EU) certification for working with experimental animals. Must be enrolled at the Center for Doctoral Studies at the University of Lübeck (CDSL).
