Job Summary
Join the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH) as a Laboratory Assistant specializing in LC-MS/MS research within the Clinic for Pediatric Oncology and Rheumatology. This role focuses on supporting a DFG-funded research project (SFB 1665) investigating sex diversity. You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing steroid hormone profiles in various biological samples using LC-MS/MS technology. The position requires meticulous sample handling, instrument operation, data evaluation, and laboratory maintenance. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Biological-Technical Assistant (BTA), Medical-Technical Laboratory Assistant (MTLA), or Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA)
Experience
- Professional experience with micro-liter pipettes
- Prior experience with chromatography and mass spectrometry is advantageous
- Prior experience in cell culture is advantageous
- Technical understanding and independent work style
