Job Summary
This role focuses on enhancing the Bundeswehr's situational awareness capabilities through IT solutions. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and conception to implementation and operation. Key tasks include identifying strategic needs of user groups, translating them into functional requirements, and developing a business architecture to support procurement and project planning. You will also provide technical leadership to a team of experts and act as a liaison between the Bundeswehr and internal teams. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the digital future of the Bundeswehr, working on complex, strategic IT projects within a collaborative team environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Business Informatics, Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, or in a comparable role as a Requirements Manager within complex, strategic IT projects.
- Expertise in common methods of classical and agile project management.
- Experience in data fusion, databases, or applications for implementing situational awareness systems or decision support systems.
- Experience with modern tools, technologies, and methods such as Advanced Analytics, Big Data, Cognitive Computing, or Artificial Intelligence.
- Desirable experience in the customer environment of the Bundeswehr, authorities, or global industrial companies, especially in the area of VSA-compliant architectures.

- Professional experience required.
- Certifications in Project Management (e.g., IPMA, PMI, SCRUM) or Requirements Engineering frameworks/methods (e.g., IREB) are required.
- High degree of responsibility, independence, and goal orientation.
- Customer and service-oriented thinking and acting, as well as project and team-oriented work.
- Work with a team in person (approx. 60-80% of working time) in our Bonn offices.
