Job Summary

This role involves conducting cutting-edge research in synaptic lipid signal transduction and its translational significance for human pathologies, focusing on the role of bioactive lipids in stroke, motor control, and metabolic changes. You will perform molecular biology analyses in cell cultures and in vivo using transgenic animal models. The position also includes preparing scientific manuscripts, official documents, and contributing to anatomical teaching. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Human Medicine or Natural Sciences, has completed an experimental doctorate, and possesses strong practical experience in animal experimentation (FELASA B), in vivo imaging, behavioral analysis, electrophysiology, or cell biology, ideally supported by independent publications. This is a fixed-term, full-time position offering a secure and meaningful job in a dynamic research environment with flexible working hours.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Human Medicine or Natural Sciences with an experimental doctorate.

Experience

  • Completed studies in Human Medicine or Natural Sciences
  • Completed experimental doctorate, preferably in Neuroscience
  • Profound knowledge and practical experience in animal experimentation (FELASA B)
  • Experience in in vivo imaging, behavioral analysis, electrophysiology, or cell biology
  • Ideally supported by independent, published scientific work
