Job Summary
This role is for an IT Technician specializing in Data Centers, based in Munich. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure within data centers, including the professional installation of hardware such as switches, patch panels, PDUs, and racks. You will also perform precise patching and configuration of fiber optic connection cables. The position requires a completed vocational training in IT or comparable experience, solid experience in data center environments, and a valid driver's license. Fluency in German and good English skills are necessary, along with a willingness to travel for training and occasional business trips within the Munich area. This full-time, permanent position offers an attractive salary up to €48,000 per year and a structured onboarding process.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the IT sector (e.g., Fachinformatiker Systemintegration, IT System Elektroniker, IT Systemkaufmann, Informationselektroniker) or comparable training/relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in a Data Center environment
- Experience in IT hardware installation (switches, PDUs, racks)
- Experience with fiber optic cabling and patching
