Job Summary

This role involves the administration and advancement of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud services, and end-user devices. You will ensure stable IT operations through monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution, handling support requests from 1st to 3rd level. The position also includes participation in IT projects such as Microsoft 365 implementation, backup/restore strategies, and document management systems. Key responsibilities also cover implementing IT security measures, patch and update management, automating recurring tasks, standardizing IT processes, and maintaining technical documentation. The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science or a relevant IT qualification with professional experience, strong knowledge of Microsoft environments, and scripting skills for automation. This is an attractive opportunity to work in a meaningful role within the IT department of the Bishop's Ordinary, serving as a central IT service provider.
