Job Summary

As an IT System Administrator & Support Specialist, you will serve as a key member of the IT department, providing essential services to staff. Your daily responsibilities include managing and developing IT infrastructure, covering servers, networks, cloud services, and end-user devices. You will ensure operational stability through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and performing 1st to 3rd level support via a ticketing system. Furthermore, you will participate in strategic IT projects, such as Microsoft 365 implementations and backup management, while focusing on security, patch management, and process automation using scripting. This role is unique as it offers a stable, mission-driven work environment within a church-affiliated organization, providing a balance of technical challenge and social responsibility. You will work in a collaborative team environment, requiring strong service orientation and the ability to document technical processes effectively.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Computer Science (Bachelor or Master) or completed IT vocational training with relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the operation and administration of IT systems including servers, networks, and storage.
  • Experience in managing IT projects and technical documentation.
  • Practical experience with Microsoft environments and basic firewall configuration.
  • Experience in task automation using scripting languages.
