Job Summary
The Region Hannover is seeking a dedicated leader to head the Fachsteuerung (Specialist Control) team, focusing on improving services for individuals with disabilities and mental health conditions. Required Skills
Education
Qualification for career level 2, first entry level in General Services (University degree as Diplom-Verwaltungswirt/in, Diplom-Verwaltungsbetriebswirt/in, Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration or Business Administration), OR a passed Second Civil Service Examination. Alternatively, a first professional university degree in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, Social and Organizational Pedagogy, or a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work, each with state recognition. Another university degree in law or administrative sciences at Bachelor's level is also accepted.
Experience
- Long-term professional experience based on the required qualifications.
- Proven project or leadership experience is desirable.
- Experience in the field of integration assistance or social codes is advantageous.
- Experience in managing teams of administrative and social work professionals.

- Requires a modern understanding of leadership, including a strategic perspective on Gender Mainstreaming. Must be familiar with the Region Hannover's leadership philosophy. No specific work permit requirements mentioned, but the role is based in Germany.
