Job Summary

This role is situated within the Integration and Participation Staff Unit of the Hanover Region, serving as a strategic hub for diversity and inclusion. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for the conceptual development and implementation of strategies focusing on intercultural opening, diversity management, anti-discrimination, and the strengthening of democratic values. You will play a key role in restructuring the Migration Department to create more integrative, cross-functional working environments. Day-to-day tasks include general administrative duties, managing projects and events, and acting as a liaison between internal administration and external stakeholders like civil society and migrant organizations. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, Social Sciences, Humanities, or Political Science. Alternatively, completion of the Second Administrative Examination (Angestelltenprüfung II) or qualification for Career Group 2, First Entry Level in General Services.

Experience

Additional

  • This is a part-time position (up to 50%) and is fixed-term for approximately two years as a parental leave replacement. Candidates must be eligible for the TVöD Entgeltgruppe 11 or A 11 pay grades.
