Job Summary

This role involves providing hands-on IT infrastructure support for a leading international IT service provider. In this position, you will be responsible for the physical installation, setup, and teardown of client, server, and peripheral hardware during large-scale rollouts and office moves. Your day-to-day duties will include performing functional hardware tests, basic client OS configuration, and managing software installations. You will also handle incident and service request tickets through the Matrix42 ITSM system and ensure accurate asset documentation. Additionally, the role involves coordinating small installation teams of up to three people. This position is ideal for a hands-on IT professional who enjoys working in dynamic, project-based environments and values a structured, process-oriented approach to IT service management. The role offers the stability of a long-term deployment with a high potential for permanent transition to the client company.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical vocational training or equivalent IT-related retraining.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a comparable IT role.
  • Completed technical vocational training or retraining, or at least 1 year of practical experience in the IT sector within the last 3 years.
  • Professional experience with ticket systems and documented, process-based workflows.
  • Experience in hardware installation, cabling, repair, and upgrades.
