Job Summary

The Diocese of Aachen is seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to join their finance department on a permanent, full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation of annual financial statements according to the German Commercial Code (HGB) for various entities within the diocese. Your daily tasks will include performing balance sheet consolidations, ensuring data quality across organizational units, and preparing tax returns and VAT declarations. You will also play a key role in analyzing and optimizing financial workflows, especially during organizational or technical transitions.
