As a System Administrator for the Campus Management System at the University Computing Center, you will be responsible for the end-to-end operation of the HISinOne platform. Your day-to-day work involves ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of the system across production, testing, and customization environments. You will manage Linux-based server landscapes, handle database operations, and coordinate system updates and patches. A key aspect of the role is collaborating with the university's academic administration and external partners to ensure smooth rollouts of functional changes. You will also provide 3rd-level support, optimize system performance, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Master/Diploma) in Computer Science or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the scalable and fail-safe operation of server applications in organizations with at least 100 users.
  • Professional experience in Linux-based system administration.
  • Experience in 3rd-level support and technical troubleshooting.
  • Experience in managing relational databases, specifically backup, restore, and replication strategies.
