Job Summary

The University of Saarland is seeking a proactive Manager of Digital Systems and Platforms to join its Digitalization Staff Unit. In this role, you will be responsible for the conceptual development, administration, and operation of the university's Microsoft 365 environment and the central Learning Management System (Moodle). Your day-to-day work involves end-to-end management of change requests, integrating cloud services, providing second-level technical support, and optimizing support processes through automation scripts. You will collaborate closely with various university departments and external partners to enhance digital infrastructure for teaching and learning. The position requires a strong background in system administration, proficiency in Microsoft 365, and experience with E-Learning platforms. This is a unique opportunity to shape the digital transformation of a renowned research university in a collaborative, creative environment. The role is initially fixed-term for two years with the prospect of permanent employment.
