Job Summary

Saarland University is seeking an Associate Professor for Functional Materials to join the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. This position is central to the university's research focus on sustainability, circular economy, and resource-efficient technologies. The successful candidate will lead research in hierarchically organized functional materials and hybrid materials for energy applications, such as adaptive metamaterials, catalysts, or solid-state electrolytes.
