Job Summary
As an IT Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and managing IT service portfolios for various clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating service activities, aligning with departments on active contracts, and building or refining process landscapes. You will be responsible for documentation, quality assurance, and establishing a service desk based on ITIL frameworks. Additionally, you will handle Service Level Management, coordinate team meetings, and tailor service modules to meet specific customer requirements. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in IT infrastructure—including data centers, network technologies (LAN/WAN/WLAN), and workplace environments—combined with excellent communication and social skills. This position is particularly attractive due to the company's flat hierarchy, flexible working models including home office options, and the security of an unlimited contract within a dynamic IT service and security environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the IT sector (e.g., IT System Integration Specialist, IT Customer Support, IT System Electronics Technician, or similar) or equivalent professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT service management or relevant IT sectors
- Experience in conducting and managing projects
- Experience in the tender process for IT services or hardware/software
- Practical knowledge of IT infrastructure and workplace environment processes
Languages
Additional
- Must be eligible to work in Germany. ITIL certification is highly desirable.
