Job Summary

As a Research Scientist at the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) in Berlin, you will play a pivotal role in the 'Materials Synthesis and Design' department. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Physics, or Materials Science; PhD in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field (required).

Experience

  • Professional experience in the synthesis and characterization of nano- and advanced materials, evidenced by publications.
  • Demonstrated experience in laboratory automation or high-throughput methods via projects or publications.
  • Experience in securing third-party research funding.
  • Extensive publication record (minimum of 4 publications as first or last author).
  • Experience in mentoring and supervising junior scientific staff.
  • Professional experience in computer-aided data analysis and machine learning applications.
