Job Summary

As the Lead Cyber Security Manager for Vulnerability Management, you will play a critical role in securing the digital infrastructure of the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Operating within the Competence Center IT-Security, you will hold full service responsibility for 'Vulnerability Control and Analysis,' overseeing the entire service lifecycle from strategic definition to design and implementation. Your daily activities will include leading a geographically distributed technical team, managing financial and investment planning, and ensuring all service delivery obligations are met. You will act as a key consultant in cross-departmental working groups, utilizing advisory management tools and vulnerability scanning technologies to protect one of Germany's most complex IT environments. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed degree in (Business) Informatics with a focus on IT Security, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience. Must possess relevant certifications in IT Service Management and IT Security.

Experience

  • Approximately 6 years of proven experience in service delivery, control, and monitoring within the field of vulnerability management.
  • Professional experience in the public sector or Bundeswehr environment is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in the technical leadership of distributed teams.
  • Experience in financial and investment planning, including the calculation of service offers.
  • Experience in managing the full Service LifeCycle and defining security strategies.
