Job Summary
As a Senior Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the digital future of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) by maintaining one of Germany's largest IT infrastructures. Operating out of the Hanover Service Center, your daily responsibilities involve the tool-based analysis and resolution of faults across PC, telephony, LAN, and WAN environments. You will perform on-site 'Install, Move, Add, Change' (IMAC) tasks, commission hardware, and provide user training. Beyond troubleshooting, you will support IT/TK infrastructure sub-projects and rollouts while ensuring compliance with response times and safety regulations like DGUV V3. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys a mix of technical hands-on work and customer interaction. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in IT or Communication Technology (e.g., IT Systems Electronics Technician) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- 3 or more years of professional experience in IT, telecommunications, or network environments
- Professional experience in the operation and troubleshooting of analog telecommunications systems
- Proven experience in project execution for public sector or industrial clients
- Extensive experience working with ticketing systems and knowledge databases
- Experience in performing on-site technical services and user instruction

Additional
- Participation in a regular on-call standby rotation is required. Ability to perform work-equipment testing according to VDE 0701-0702 is preferred.
