As the Head of IT Governance, you will lead several critical teams including Projects & Processes, General Administration, and specialized units for IT Architecture and License Coordination. Your daily responsibilities involve overseeing the planning and execution of IT projects, managing the IT budget, and serving as a vital interface between department management and various business units. You will act as a strategic advisor to leadership on IT trends and developments, ensuring that the IT strategy evolves in line with modern requirements. A key focus of this role is the implementation and enforcement of an IT Governance framework, ensuring all IT processes comply with legal regulations and standards. This position is ideal for a leader who excels in process optimization and organizational compliance within a public sector context. Located in the historic heart of Lübeck near the Baltic Sea, the role offers a high degree of autonomy, flexible working models, and the security of a permanent public service contract.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Master's or equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Public Administration, Mathematics, Physics, Communications Engineering, or a related Engineering field.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in a leadership or management role
  • Proven experience in employee development, coaching, and mediation
  • Extensive experience in IT Project and Process Management
