Job Summary

The City of Lübeck is seeking an IT Specialist to join their Information Technology department. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end architecture, development, and maintenance of middleware platforms and interfaces. You will play a key part in the digital transformation of municipal services, specifically focusing on data integration between specialized applications and online services in accordance with the Online Access Act and Smart City initiatives. Your daily tasks will include managing intranet and workflow platforms, monitoring distributed systems, and deploying applications within a Kubernetes environment. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and possesses a strong background in interface integration, microservice architectures, and container technologies. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Professional experience in the development, integration, and operation of middleware and interface solutions
  • Demonstrated experience with microservice architectures and container technologies
  • Several years of professional experience with web services is desirable
  • Professional experience in IT systems administration or development, or equivalent qualifications
