This full-time, permanent position at the University of Konstanz involves supporting a developmental biology research group focused on zebrafish models. You will perform a variety of molecular, cellular, and biochemical techniques, including DNA/RNA extraction, genotyping, cloning, and in situ hybridization. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Technical Assistant (e.g., BTA, MTA, CTA) or an equivalent qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience as a Technical Assistant or in a equivalent laboratory role
  • Experience in molecular biological activities such as cloning and genotyping
  • Experience in handling laboratory animals, specifically zebrafish, is preferred
  • Experience with laboratory documentation and data analysis
  • Experience with laboratory database organization

Languages

English (Fluent)

Additional

  • FELASA-compliant laboratory animal science course certification for fish is highly advantageous. Must be willing to work with zebrafish models.
