Job Summary
As an IT Consultant in Digital Manufacturing, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between client requirements and technical execution. Operating within a project team, you will design and implement Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applications for high-tech industries including semiconductors, automotive, and medical technology. Your daily responsibilities include evaluating customer change requests from both technical and economic perspectives, managing interfaces between developers and clients, and conducting product demonstrations or beta testing. You will also be responsible for optimizing business processes, leading implementation projects, and organizing user workshops. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy a blend of technical consulting and project management. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Business Informatics, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification through professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in consulting or project management, specifically within the MES environment
- Practical experience in manufacturing, automation, and machine connectivity
- Experience managing interfaces between technical development teams and external clients
- Proven track record in conducting product demonstrations and user training workshops
- Experience in evaluating technical requirements from an economic perspective
