Job Summary
As an IT Application Support Specialist at LWL.IT Service, you will play a central role in managing and optimizing IT solutions that support the business processes of the Regional Association of Westphalia-Lippe (LWL). Your daily responsibilities include coordinating the selection and implementation of new IT projects, providing high-level second-level support for specialized department applications, and leading digitization initiatives. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor/Diploma) in Computer Science, Technology, Mathematics, or a related field; alternatively, completed vocational training as an IT Specialist, IT Systems Clerk, or IT Systems Electronician with relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT application support and procedure management
- Experience in coordinating and implementing IT solutions and business processes
- Experience in leading or participating in digitalization projects
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and IT architectures
- Experience in handling support requests and change management

- The role is based in Westphalia-Lippe. Candidates must be eligible for public service pay scales (A 11 LBesG NRW or EG 11 TVöD VKA). Open to career changers with relevant technical backgrounds.
