Job Summary
We are seeking an IT Supplier Manager to join our IT department. In this role, you will be responsible for the selection, implementation, and integration of modern IT contract and license management systems, continuously developing processes and usage concepts, and ensuring stable operations. You will also optimize systems and workflows through a structured improvement process and drive the sustainable development of IT supplier and contract management. This includes managing and monitoring existing IT contracts for hardware, software, and services, evaluating performance metrics like SLAs and availability, and developing monitoring and reporting structures. You will also actively participate in IT-related procurement procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as DORA and NIS-2.
Required Skills
Education
Completed (technical) university degree (Diplom/Bachelor) in Informatics, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Public Administration, or Organizational Sciences, OR another relevant (technical) university degree with links to the mentioned fields of work, OR equivalent skills and experience through long-term professional activity (e.g., IT specialist or IT system/digitalization management professional) with willingness for further professional development.
Experience
- Long-term professional experience in IT supplier and contract management
- Experience with IT service processes, ideally ITIL
- Experience with contract types, SLAs, KPIs, and escalation mechanisms
- Experience with regulatory requirements in IT supplier management (e.g., DORA, NIS-2)
- Basic knowledge in process modeling and experience with BPMN 2.0
- Experience with supplier or contract management systems is desirable
- Experience in (agile) projects is desirable
