Job Summary
This role involves driving organizational transformation within the Kiel Office for Culture and Continuing Education. As an Innovation and Process Management Officer, you will act as a strategic consultant for department heads and staff, identifying optimization potentials in administrative workflows and implementing digital solutions to replace analog processes. Your daily responsibilities include developing process controlling tools, visualizing 'target' process maps, and coordinating central projects that bridge the gap between creative cultural work and structured administration. You will also perform budget deviation analyses and prepare reports for political committees. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys 'thinking outside the box' while maintaining the rigor of public administration standards. The role offers high flexibility through flex-time and home-office options, set within a diverse environment that includes city libraries, museums, and music schools.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor or FH-Diploma) with a minimum of 6 semesters, or completion of the Career Examination for the second level of civil service (General Services), or completion of the Administrative Specialist Course II (Angestelltenlehrgang II).
Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience relevant to the required educational background
- Professional experience in optimizing administrative processes and project management
- Experience in the introduction and training of digital tools and software
- Experience in financial reporting and budget monitoring within a public or corporate framework
